In the initial research, the main focus was on the impact of branched chain amino acid synthesis metabolism, especially metabolic diseases, and the theoretical potential for its prevention and treatment of liver failure and encephalopathy. Therefore, branched chain amino acids are promoted as beneficial supplements for patients with this disease. However, some ambiguous clinical studies have generated interest in the general loss of branched chain amino acids as nutritional supplements.
3. Branched chain amino acid glutamine metabolism has a significant impact. Glutamine is considered an important nutrient, and many rapidly dividing cells are present in the body, especially in the gut and immune system. Therefore, traditional parenteral or enteral nutrition lacks glutamine (due to its unstable solution) and is associated with intestinal atrophy and immune deficiency.
